My Dell VOsTRO 1400

Bought my Dell Vostro 1400 as 2008 new year present...

1st time using laptop... excited exploring myself...

I even tried to format the hardisk to create partition by myself... kekke.. after completing formatting, a little bit, proud of myself.. beh paiseh..

everything running well for few months... until last week, start hearing distortion from right speaker... so so sad and cant bear vt the crackling noise ...

Last 2 days, called DELL SUPPORT to complain about the problem... the engineer was very friendly and helpful... bringing me go thru some test on my laptop via instructions thru phone... spent 42minutes!! And at the end... summary is: should be soundcard failure! And he said, need to change soundcard, and dun worry, it's FOC coz under warranty! Hahaha.... It's so good to be under warranty! no regret spending a little more!

Then, yesterday, a service engineer came to my house to change MOTHERBOARD for me ! walao.... whole motherboard changed... But, the sound distortion is still there... me and the engineer oso knew it's the speaker's problem ! why not change speaker but motherboard ? Doink~~~ so, the next day, a engineer will be sent to my house again to change the speaker...

P/S: yesterday chatting vt frens regarding my experience with this DELL's service, onli I encountered why speaker broken so fast ... Hahaha.. i oways turn on the sound to MAX ! coz the laptop speaker really soft... mmaybe becoz of this, the speaker killed! kakakakka... luckily found out before i leaving to overseas !

OK I'll take good care of the new DELL speaker... will plug in vt my external speaker to watch movies...

Today, waiting for call... when are u coming to change my speaker ???
